    charming room
    exceptional service
    challenging parking
    cramped space
    small shower room

Charming small double room with a peaceful garden and exceptional staff who provided impeccable service. The breakfast truly stood out with an impressive selection including local products and healthy options. On the downside, parking was challenging due to strict regulations nearby, and room size felt a bit cramped for those used to larger beds.

    Would have stayed for longer

The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the Roman Baths and nearby attractions. My Double Room had a comfy bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Breakfast was fantastic, with options like freshly baked croissants and a range of teas. The ambiance was charming with the Georgian architecture and a lovely garden. Staff were informative and made the experience enjoyable.

the kennard is such a lovely guesthouse, really quiet n comfy. the location was perfect, super close to all the sights and awesome restaurants just mins away. the breakfast was really yummy, especially the eggs benedict, i want to have it again! kudos to the staff, christina was super helpful n friendly. highly recommended!

the en-suite was a bit small n a little tricky to get into the shower. also, the honesty bar sign coulda been more clear, had no idea it wasn't complimentary.

    great location
    delicious breakfast
    awkward bathroom setup

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored the Roman Baths and took a stroll through the beautiful Royal Crescent. The location is perfect for sightseeing, and the breakfast has great options. Just a heads-up, the upper floors can be a bit challenging without an elevator!

The bathroom sink was in the bedroom, which might not work for everyone.

A Cozy Retreat Near the Heart of Bath!

Our stay was delightful! The bed offered an exceptional sleep, and the homemade shortbread was a sweet surprise. Proximity to city attractions was a highlight, and the helpful guest information book enhanced our experience. I recommend parking elsewhere and walking back with light bags for convenience.

Perfect spot for a group getaway

The breakfast was unique and plentiful, they had this homemade shortbread that was just delightful, and the staff were beyond helpful, providing us with solid advice on where to go in the area. You know, we were greeted right away and shown where to park, and that's just the kind of personal touch you didn’t expect but made all the difference.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but worth it in my opinion.
